Fisher’s ATV World Wins Golden Moose Award for “BEST OFF-ROAD SERIES”

Dover, PA, January 31, 2012 -- Fisher’s ATV World is proud to announce that it has won a Golden Moose Award for “Best Off-Road Series” on Outdoor Channel. The Golden Moose Awards recognize creative achievements of quality outdoor programming, and the talented personalities and skilled production work that bring the shows on Outdoor Channel to life.

Now in its 10th season, Fisher’s ATV World is an award-winning, adventure/lifestyle television show covering all aspects of ATVs and Side-by-Sides. This was the first year that Outdoor Channel’s Golden Moose Awards included a voted category for “Best Off-Road Series.” Fisher’s ATV World was one of five TV shows nominated.

Outdoor Channel unveiled the winners of the 12th Annual Golden Moose Awards at a ceremony held January 19th at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, during the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) annual Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) and Conference. The GMA’s were hosted by Bone Collector front man, Michael Waddell, and a live performance from two time Grammy-winning artist, Zac Brown Band. Awards were given in 24 categories and among many celebrities that were present including Craig Morgan, Ted Nugent, Jim Shockey, Shawn Michaels, and Criminal Minds actor, Joe Mantegna. This was the first year that Outdoor Channel streamed the Golden Moose Awards live on their website, OutdoorChannel.com.

 

Fisher’s ATV World has been in production and airing nationally since 2002. The program features host Brian Fisher, who attracts a large viewing audience with his “Keepin’ It Real” style and entertaining, information-packed segments. The program airs Mondays at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET on Outdoor Channel, reaching over 35 million homes.

 

Outdoor Channel features quality programming designed to educate and entertain sportsmen of all skill levels. The channel promotes the traditional outdoor activities that are a vital part of our national heritage including fishing, hunting and shooting sports, and ATV’s.
